A lifelong native of Vancouver, Robert E.L. Bennett graduated with a baccalaureate degree in philosophy from the University of Washington in 1975. He later obtained a juris doctor from the University of Puget Sound (1979). Shortly after joining the Washington State Bar Association in May of 1980, he opened his law office at 1614 Washington Street in Vancouver, Washington, and has continued to practice law at this location since that time.
Mr. Bennett's office provides a range of legal services with an emphasis on landlord/tenant law, business litigation, and real estate law. Mr. Bennett does not represent tenants. As a landlord's lawyer, he is and has been a frequent speaker in the area of landlord's rights and eviction procedures. Mr. Bennett is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) and Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA). He is licensed to practice in the State of Washington and before the federal District Court for the Western District of Washington (Ninth Circuit). A former collegiate athlete for the University of Washington, Bob remains a loyal Husky fan, and avidly supports UW's various athletic programs. He resides in Vancouver with his wife Isabelle. |
